Healthy DIY Dog Treats
If you're looking for a way to ensure that your pug is getting the healthiest treats possible, making your own at home is a great option. By doing it yourself, you can avoid all the chemicals and fillers that are often found in store-bought treats. Plus, it's a fun DIY project that you and your pug can enjoy together! We've found some great recipes online that we love, including homemade peanut butter treats and sweet potato chews. Give it a try and see if you notice a difference in your pup's overall health and energy levels. Here are links to some healthy do it yourself dog treats:
2-4oz containers of Gerber 2nd stage meat baby food. 4oz wheat germ. 4oz dry milk.
Mix well. Roll into balls on greased sheet. Or on parchment paper.
Flatten with fork. I also used the footprint/bone molds. Bake 350 for 10 to 15 min. Cool. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use. I would put so many in the fridge for him for a few days.
